Libera Chat’s Matrix Bridge

Libera Chat has put a ton of work into creating a special bridge allowing Matrix users to join any of their IRC rooms with just a single link. Read more about it here:

Instructions

1. Get the room name

Search for the name of the Libera Chat IRC room you’d like to join here

Below is an example of searching for Debian’s IRC channel name.

2. Create a URL to join the room

Paste the following into your browser’s address bar replacing <RoomName> with the name of the room including all #'s:

https://app.element.io/#/room/<RoomName>:libera.chat

Debian example:

https://app.element.io/#/room/#debian:libera.chat

3. Click Join the discussion
