Running x86 binary on ARM - Pinebook Pro

I have just received a Pinebook Pro which I am really enjoying using.

One application that I am keen to use is Typora - a really good markdown editor.

The source code for this is not available and it does not support ARM architecture.

Can anyone advise me if there is any way I can run this on the Pinebook Pro?

I am quite new to using Linux but from what I have read cross compiling for ARM is not really an option without the source code?

But perhaps I missing a really obvious way of running x86 binaries on ARM.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

I don’t think you can run x86 binaries on ARM, not without a compatibility layer.

Right now, your best realistic option for that is to run Typora somewhere else and VNC to it.
