I’m thinking about buying one of the above mentioned pieces of kit to put into my desktop. For the last few months I have been using an old Belkin USB adapter that supports up to 802.11g. The experience has been, well… not great. I would like to get a significantly faster WiFi adapter that also has Bluetooth support, and was looking specifically at this TP Link device. I have however heard mixed reviews of TP Link devices under Linux.
I was wondering if anybody could offer some advice on what to get. Support for WiFi 6 (802.11ax ?) and Bluetooth 5 would be nice, as I don’t want to upgrade again any time soon, but 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 would cover me for the time being.
